Our story that led us here today...

Our Financial Stability

We are both working professionals with well-paying jobs. David is a software engineer with an accounting background. Jason is a policy and communications professional for the U.S. Government. We are financially stable and prepared for the costs of raising a child.

Jason has family in Florida, Chicago, and the New York City area. We live just a few minutes’ drive from Jason’s two brothers and cousins. We are so happy that our child will get the special opportunity to grow up with his/her cousins.

David’s family lives in Poland. We love visiting them multiple times a year to see his parents, his brothers and sisters-in-law, and his seven nieces and nephews.

Both of our families are incredibly supportive of us moving forward as we build a family. It’s in no small part because of the loving support they’ve given us our whole lives that we are ready to be Dads ourselves.

Our Big Loving Families 

In our adopted city of Washington, DC, we have built a close community of friends around us, including many with young children. We celebrate holidays and life occasions with them, and we look forward to our children growing up together. We picked a house in a safe area and close to our friends, full of other young families and a nearby playground and school.

Personality

David grew up in Poland with his parents, two brothers, and a big extended family nearby. He has seven nieces and nephews ranging from 18 years to 1 month old and is very close to each of them. 

His family is full of entrepreneurs that have owned a number of successful businesses. David is very passionate about airplanes and travel and enjoys cooking.

We love to travel and have gone around the world together exploring new places. We share a commitment to regular fitness and a love of Polish chocolates. David loves cooking and has taught Jason to appreciate freshly made soup and homemade bread and cheese. 

Our home is always a warm, inviting space for friends and family to gather for holidays and special occasions. We are an inter-faith and inter-cultural couple.
